Cattle for sale

Promising red-pointed bull calf Jadebeam Firethorn (R), born March 2024 and could be sold at weaning, or kept through the winter and sold thereafter. 

Four homebred heifers, all born September 2023, one sired by Woodbastwick Davidoff and three by Midsummer Meadows Horace. BVD Free Herd.

6-year-old gentle bull Tollesbury Moonstone (EX92) will be available mid-October. He has happily outwintered on our grass-fed only system for the last two winters. Very respectful of electric fencing and a pleasure to work with. We are Pasture for Life certified and will complete our Organic conversion on the 1st December.

Stock bull Salhouse JC, born 2020, has served the cows well and is now ready to move to another herd.

Homebred bulls Bulby Holm Oak and Bulby Horse Chestnut, born July 2022, have passed Society inspection and are ready to go to work.

Castleton Iolo (EX92), born Oct 2019, has produced strong calves at Woodfield and is now needing to move on due to his first daughters coming into the breeding herd. 

Cadarn Cargo (EX90), born March 2022 and was Reserve Male Champion Royal Welsh Show 2024, and Cadarn Scania, born March 2023 and was Reserve Junior Male Champion Royal Welsh Show 2024. Both quiet, halter trained and very easy to handle. 

Fromus Black Thorn, born Oct 2022 and sired by Woodbastwick Drakkar (EX92). Shown at both the South Suffolk and Royal Norfolk shows in 2024, Black Thorn is well-handled with a quiet nature, and is ready to go to work.

Woodland Harvey's Hope, born March 2022 and now running with Tollesbury Cornelius. 

Cows and heifers of various ages available from the Stoke Golding herd, now being dispersed due to retirement. 

Albany Outlaw, born 2020, Quiet, halter trained, we have used him for three years and he has bred us some fabulous calves. Running with our cows for the final time before we bring some of his daughters into the breeding herd. Would consider either sale or swap for the right bull. Blood tested, TB4 area.

Smart bulling heifer Pimhill Delilah, born 2022, sired by Tollesbury Sir Percival and is now ready to run with a bull.

Selection of in-calf heifers sired by Anglesey Bruce calving down now to Woodbastwick Del Boy, to be sold with their calves at foot. Also a choice of maidens sired by Leverington Columbus, TB4 herd.

Available from late summer 2024 is Castleton Tudur, born September 2019. Throws easily calved, well-shaped progeny.  Tudur is nicely mannered and has been halter broken, he is quite happy to winter out or live with the yarded cows.

Heifer Wispers Pear Blossom, born April 2023 and weighed 280kgs at 7 months. TB4 herd.
