Show results: Suffolk County
A superb morning’s judging took place at the Suffolk County Show on Wednesday 27 May, under the watchful eye of British White breed class judge Mr Brian Palmer, Taunton. Show results: Shropshire County
It was a doubly successful day for Warwickshire-based breeders James Brain and Libby McGinn, as homebred animals from their Lordswood herd were awarded both the Breed Championship and Reserve at Shropshire County Show on Saturday 23 May. In the top spot under judge Mrs Angie Hamilton, Carmarthenshire, was the March 2024-born heifer Lordswood Maggie, with her full brother Lordswood Maxwell - born March 2025 - standing in reserve. Show results: South Suffolk
It was longstanding exhibitor Angela Dunn of the De Beauvoir herd, Essex, who took home the Breed Championship at South Suffolk Show on 10 May, this time marking an extra-special win having taken place on the 30th anniversary of the herd’s debut show outing at the same event in 1996. Herd Competition Entries Now Open
Enter now for the BWCS National Herd Competition, to be judged by last year's winners of the Best Medium Herd category, Vivien & Andrew St Joseph and Mark Howland of the Tollesbury herd. Winter Workshop hosted at Oldington
