Entries are now open for the BWCS Autumn Show and Sale, to be held at Melton Mowbray Market on Friday 11 and Saturday 12 September 2026.

Offering new and existing breeders a one-stop-shop for their next pedigree purchase, we look forward to promoting breeders' entries this autumn. Whether you're buying, selling, or spectating, the BWCS tradestand will also be in attendance across both days of the event to chat cattle and promote the breed, so drop in and say hello!

23rd Traditional & Native Breed Show & Sale

***Entries close Friday 14 August***

Show date: Friday 11 September from 12:00noon

Sale date: Saturday 12 September from 10:00am

All British White entries will be Society inspected prior to sale, as per the BWCS Sales Inspections Guide below. This will be a pedigree multi-breed event with the facility to accommodate haltered and unhaltered cattle. Members are encouraged to enter Show-and-Sale and Sale-Only cattle, with penning and sale order to be organised accordingly.

We are keen to promote your entries in the lead-up to the sale, so please make sure to send in photographs/videos of your lots to the Breed Secretary well in advance. You can email these to admin@britishwhitecattle.co.uk or send via WhatsApp to 07771 333303.

PLEASE NOTE: All entries and payment should be submitted to Melton Mowbray Market - see cattle entry form below.

Advice for vendors and buyers is always available from BWCS, so please do get in touch if you have any questions about buying or selling at Society sales. This includes kinship queries: we can evaluate potential matings between sale lots and cattle you already own, just make sure to ask for any reports by Wednesday 9 September.
