Hosting a brand new British White cattle section for the first time in 2025 was Mid Devon Show, held on Saturday 26 July and sporting classes of high quality cattle, which were judged by Edward Mills, Bristol.

The Breed Championship for the section went to the senior bull Tollesbury Pythagoras (EX92) from local breeder Chris Davis, Honiton, with the in-calf heifer Emily Amber from The Newt in Somerset, Castle Cary, in reserve. Members were also delighted to welcome new breeder Fi Boothby to the show ring, exhibiting British White cattle for the very first time as well as offering the much-appreciated sponsorship of the section from Vale Veterinary Group, where Fi works as a farm veterinary surgeon and director.

The BWCS is grateful to Mid Devon Show for putting on a new section for our breed, and to the exhibitors for their hard work in approaching the show for the opportunity and organising sponsorship. Having representation at more agricultural shows helps to publicise our breed further and wider, and feedback from this year's event shows that the breed has already generated interest in the area with potential new purchaser enquiries.
More exhibitors will be greatly welcomed for next year to keep this momentum going, so if you are interested in entering British White cattle for Mid Devon Show in 2026, keep an eye on their website for schedules and entry forms being released in the Spring!

Great interview, but if I'm being honest felt more like 'why I'm still a Calvinist' than 'Christian'. I respect that Kristen's faith tradition is important to her, and she can obviously share to the level she feels comfortable with and no more, but this was a very intellectual conversation. best lip fillers 'd have appreciated hearing more about Kristen's personal faith in Jesus Himself and why that is not shaken despite the attacks she's endured.
