Show results: South Suffolk

It was longstanding exhibitor Angela Dunn of the De Beauvoir herd, Essex, who took home the Breed Championship at South Suffolk Show on 10 May, this time marking an extra-special win having taken place on the 30th anniversary of the herd’s debut show outing at the same event in 1996. The 2026 champion animal was De Beauvoir Smart Sally VG85, a five-year-old homebred cow with heifer calf at foot, the pair awarded the Clarke and Butcher Challenge Cup for Breed Champion, along with the Cresswell Challenge Shield for Female Champion.

The Reserve Breed Championship was awarded to the Male Champion Woodbastwick Crisscross from RH Farms, Norfolk, a two-year-old homebred bull sired by Woodbastwick Dimple Haig, and presented with the Parker Bros Challenge Trophy as winner of the bull section. Winner of the Beachern Trophy for Best Heifer, and also awarded the Reserve Female Championship, was the senior heifer class winner Tollesbury Tic Tac from AV & AKM St Joseph, Essex.
