A strong turnout provided plenty to think about for the judge in the British White breed section at Suffolk Show on Wednesday 28 May, which on this occasion was RBST Field Officer Mr Tom Blunt. His eventual choice for the Breed Championship was the senior heifer Alcroft Glory from Miss S Cook, Cambridge, with two-year-old bull Tollesbury Tarzan from AV & AKM St Joseph, Maldon, in reserve.

The Reserve Female Championship was awarded to Mrs A Dunn's De Beauvoir Smart Sally (VG85) with her March-born bull calf De Beauvoir Smart Spartacus at foot, looking a very productive outfit indeed, and the Reserve Male Championship went to the youngest entry in a large class of bulls, 11-month-old Alcroft Goldcrest from Miss S Cook.
