South Suffolk Show 2019

DE BEAUVOIR WALTZING MATILDA TAKES RESERVE NATIVE INTERBREED CHAMPION!

Kicking off the show season in absolute style in this Centenary year for British Whites was De Beauvoir Waltzing Matilda from Angela Dunn and David Evans, who were awarded the Reserve Native Interbreed title at South Suffolk Show on 12th May.

Earlier in the day, this three-year-old first calved heifer with her March-born bull calf at foot was crowned British White Breed Champion by judge Mr Joshua Brigg (Gorse Longhorns, Warwickshire), with the winner of the junior heifer class, Woodbastwick Thrumpet from Rotac Farms in reserve. In the bull rankings, it was the senior class winner Tollesbury Sir Lionel from Dr V St Joseph who was awarded the Male Championship, with yearling Fromus Premier from the Suffolk Flora Preservation Trust in reserve.
